About Stella Says...

Stella Says was conceived in 2013 during a search for inspiration for making, instead of buying, Christmas presents. No mass-produced goods, with excessive packaging and dubious ingredients, Stella wanted to create something natural, ethical & beautiful. Huddled over laptop, cat on knee, coffee in hand, Stella eventually stumbled across a recipe for natural, handmade soap.

What she couldn’t know at the time was that she had discovered not just a great gifting idea but also the start of what was to become her passion and a whole new life.

Stella Says Artisan Apothecary has come a very long way since that first batch of soap for family & friends, but though the ingredients are more luxurious, the principles remain the same: All Stella’s products are lovingly handmade in small batches, using natural & organic, ethically sourced, fresh ingredients and wrapped beautifully in recyclable packaging.

The products are free from parabens, formaldehydes and other chemical preservatives; free from paraffin and other petrochemicals; free from SLS, SLES and other chemical surfactants; and finally, free from palm oil, soy and other genetically modified or environmentally harmful ingredients. And that’s exactly how they’ll stay: Natural. Ethical. Beautiful.
